STAFFING SUPPORT SPECIALISTS Produce in BEAVER DAM, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SCOPE OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the Store Director (SD) is responsible for Produce department operations and assigned personnel. Provides day-to-day coordination/direction over Produce Associates. Assists in direct performance of duties and responsibilities of Produce Personnel on a day-to-day basis. BASIC FUNCTION: Effectively and efficiently manages Produce operations to achieve established sales, marketing and profit goals. Promotes and maintains positive customer and employee relations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Promotes and maintains compliance to store and Produce Department policies, procedures and processes. Ensures product availability, quality, variety, freshness, proper display/facing and access meets established standards. Order and maintain inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality and turn over from maximum sales and return on investment. Adhere to Company, local, state and federal health and civil code regulations relating to product handling/processing and related health regulations and sanitary procedures. Monitors department personnel to ensure efficient/effective operations. Provides direction and mentoring to Produce Associates. Able to write weekly work schedules to ensure all assigned shifts are properly staffed. Able to provide coordination, delegation and follow up of department personnel to ensure maximum performance. Audits performance and takes appropriate/timely corrective action as required. Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, positive, team oriented, customer-focused attitude within internal store personnel and between all store locations. Leads by example. Keeps Store Director aware of concerns, issues, etc. warranting their attention, knowledge of, action and/or resolution in a timely manner. Works in unison with all management team to achieve store objectives. Provides direction, motivation, coordination, support, training/cross training, development, and follow-up of assigned personnel. Responsible for timely performance/development evaluation for assigned personnel. Able to work varied shifts and meet attendance requirements.
