Insight Global Float Certified Medical Assistant in Beaufort, South Carolina

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a float certified medical assistant. This person will be floating to various clinics in the Beaufort/Bluffton region, various specialties include vascular surgery, primary care, pulmonary, and pediatrics. This CMA will be responsible for interviewing patients, measuring vitals (pulse rate, blood pressure, height, weight, and temperature), recording information in patients medical record and assisting with prepping the rooms for patient exams. Other duties include assisting with front desk and reception.

This position requires the individual to be certified through one of the following organizations: American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health Career Association (NHA), MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Current BLS is required from AHA ( or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Basic computer skills and at least 6 months of relevant experience required.

This person will be working anywhere from 30-40 hours a week within the schedule of M-F 8a-5p. No weekends or holidays required!

Skills and Requirements

  • Certified as a medical assistant through on of the following: American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health Career Association (NHA), MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

  • Current BLS from AHA ( or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

  • Basic computer skills

  • 6 months of relevant experience required. - Previous EPIC experience null
