Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Data Scientist to sit remotely for one of our large transportation clients. The Data Scientist will be responsible for interacting with internal teams and customers to gather data. As well as:
- Independently dig into datasets to explore contents and assess viability for machine learning application.
- Build data science processes from ETL, through finalized models.
- Build classification models that are used in production.
- Independently take a set of business requirements/goals and translate them into a roadmap of data science steps to address those needs.
- Communicate completed data or model findings to various audiences
- Use Python and SQL
- Use data science tools and related application on Azure or AWS

Skills and Requirements
o Masters degree in IT with 3+ years of Data Scientist experience
o Or Ph.D. with 2+ years of Data Scientist experience
* Advance Python experience
* Intermediate SQL experience
* Cloud experience
o AWS or Azure
* Good communication and professionalism
* Ability to work independently * Ph.D
* Transportation industry null
