Mastercard Summer Internship Program

The Mastercard Summer Internship Program is a comprehensive 10-week program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives.

Across the summer, you’ll jump into experiencing work & life at Mastercard whilst gaining valuable professional experience and the opportunity to network. Successful interns also have the opportunity to secure a place of our Launch program upon graduating, which you can find out more about here.

What you’ll do

There are Summer Intern opportunities in Account Management and Customer Solutions teams for 2025. Please highlight if you have a particular preference in your CV, otherwise based on your profile you would be matched to the role seen to best align with your skillset:

Account Management

Responsible from account management of local players (banks, non-financial institutions, FinTech) for managing the relationships with these players, this involves working with cross functional teams through Mastercard to facilitate the sales of additional products and services.

• Assist Account Managers to complete routine business processes

• Create materials for contracts, agreement, pitching/presentation deck under Account Managers’ guidance

• Support Account Managers execute initiatives across multiple business functions

• Support Account Leads on team activity management and performance tracking

• Ensure up-to-date with the market and industry development, contribute ideas to enhance Mastercard competitive edge

• Support internal data research and analysis in weekly and monthly base for key accounts

• Support documentations by preparing for contracts and assisting in processing data for customer review materials

Customer Solutions

Customer Solutions across Mastercard, lead the product solutioning for prioritized customer segments in markets. Responsible creating and selling compelling data-driven, scalable and needs-based solutions to new and existing customers by tapping into Mastercard’s extensive suite of products and services offerings. • Develop consumer value propositions for Mastercard cardholders from different segments (mass, affluent)

• Research and analyse best practices in the region and around the globe to ensure most up-to-date knowledge on consumer payments’ ecosystem

• Analyse Mastercard data to unravel insights on different payment flows

• Build new business models / strategies to grow and expand consumer card payments’ ecosystem

• Support issuers in card projects (create use-cases, feasibility analysis, business requirements, etc.)

• Support Team Members execute initiatives across multiple business functions (local, regional, global)

• Support Team Members on reporting to upper management about the performance of initiatives

What you’ll need

• Undergraduate or master’s degree with an expected graduation date between Dec 2025-July 2026

• Outstanding record of academic achievement

• Innovative thinking and thoughtful risk-taking.

• Ability to partner across the organization.

• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and Turkish

This role is not eligible for Mastercard’s work authorization sponsorship. As such, candidates must be eligible to work in Türkiye, now as well as in the future, without employer sponsorship.
