Envision Education School Psychologist in Bay Area, California

Envision Education seeks School Psychologists for our Bay Area Middle and High Schools. Reporting to the school Principal, the School Psychologist will lead students in an academic vision of success that focuses on Envision’s graduate profile rooted in ethnic studies, content specific standards, and college/career readiness.

This opportunity may include an annual $3,500 MA supplement, $2,000 Doctorate supplement, $5,000 School Psychologist supplement, $5,000 CALA supplement, and/or  a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for hard-to-fill roles.

    Key Responsibilities

    The School Psychologist is an integral part of the school site team. Our small school environment and caseload offers the psychologist the ability to form relationships with students and staff to provide the following services:

  • Conducts individual and group evaluations

  • Provides guidance and assistance to students with learning, behavior and/or adjustment problems

  • Provides support in developing appropriate individual and/or group programs of instruction and treatment of learning disabilities, including performing FBA's and developing BIP's

  • Assists in systematically re-assessing children with special educational needs as appropriate

  • Provides in-service training in learning, child development and child management to parents, teachers, administrators and other professionals and paraprofessionals in assigned schools

  • Provides consultation and advisement to administrators, teachers, and parents regarding the general and special educational programs, as appropriate

  • Coordinates, communicates with and seeks consultation with community agencies, as appropriate

  • Coordinate services with mental health counselors and supervise interns

  • Provide individualized services in a full-inclusion model

    Qualifications

  • Required: Master's Degree or higher in related field

  • Required: PPS credential in School Psychology (or ability to transfer out-of-state credential);

  • Preferred: at least three years successful school psychology and special education experience.

  • Preferred: Experience working successfully with parents and families, especially African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families

  • Preferred: Spanish fluency preferred

    Compensation & Benefits

    The salary range for this part time role is pro-rated based on a full time salary range of $76,704-$131,092 and is dependent upon years of aligned experience and credentials.  This opportunity may include an annual $3,500 MA supplement, $2,000 Doctorate supplement, $5,000 School Psychologist supplement, a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for hard to fill roles and/or a $5,000 CALA supplement. In addition to compensation, this opportunity includes the following benefits:
