Responsibilities include constructing, erecting, installing, or repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, such as concrete forms; build ing frameworks, including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames and hardwood floors. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall, and batt or roll insulation. Must have the ability to instruct and direct Apprentice Carpenters. A thorough knowledge of the construction process, procedures, methods, and technologies, ability to work safely, productively and with a high degree of quality and excellence is required.
