Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Battle Creek, Michigan

Seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting both mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across the facility. This role involves monitoring, repairing, and adjusting various manufacturing equipment and systems including hydraulic thermoforming presses, ovens, robotic waterjets, 3 phase motors, and other industrial equipment. The technician will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, handle mechanical and electrical repairs, and may operate a forklift for moving heavy equipment. Training will be provided on all equipment.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and deadline-sensitive, typical of the automotive industry. The facility is approximately 300,000 sq. ft., and the team currently operates on a 50-hour workweek including most Saturdays and some Sundays, with double time compensation on Sundays. The shift available is from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
