Oracle Systems Analyst 2-IT in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Job Description

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure. As a member of the Oracle Heath Hosting Domains Team, your focus will be to deliver support to a series of internal customers/teams, while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving customer technical issues and inquiries as well as, troubleshooting Millennium and Oracle Health Patient Accounting Solutions. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, and will be responsible for facilitating customer relationships with support and providing advice/assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse situations and escalated issues.

Job Description

This involves resolving customer technical issues and inquiries as well as, troubleshooting Millennium and Oracle Health Patient Accounting Solutions. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, and will be responsible for facilitating customer relationships with support and providing advice/assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse situations and escalated issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience with 5+ years experience.

  • Experience with health care information technology work experience

  • At least 3 years' experience with supporting and/or implementing Millennium or CareAware solutions or other EHR systems

  • Experience working with Oracle Soarian Financials (Using Adaptability tools)

  • Software Implementation/support work experience with Millennium and Soarian Revenue Management systems.

  • Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both networks and systems.

  • Must understand fundamental Network concepts (e.g., Routing, Switching, DNS, Firewalls, etc.).

  • Knowledge of virtualization software (vSphere, VMware, OLVM/KVM)

  • Windows Active Directory administration

  • The ability to work both independently and with members of a distributed team without close supervision

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong documentation skills.

  • Able to have a demonstrable understanding of ITIL & Agile frameworks, with experience multitasking using Jira for project tracking and workflow management.

  • On call support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in cloud networking and security architecture, specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing OCI solutions, hybrid environments, and security compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.

This System Analyst 2 position supports the Internal domains and systems of the Oracle Health organization. Responsibilities include implementation of software packages including the installation, customization, deployment, and continued maintenance and ongoing support including resolution of application issues. Assists with the development and ongoing maintenance of support documentation. They will work closely with other system analysts, engineers, architects, team leaders, managers, and business partners to collaborate on system design as needed. They work closely with partners to review the status of work and projects in process, prioritize new efforts, and assist in identifying new opportunities to improve operations. These activities require skills in independent decision-making, application design and configuration, problem-solving, leadership, systems analysis, customer service, teamwork, organization, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour; from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
