As the SAP Application Program Manager, you will lead SAP integration, enhancement, and migration projects, ensuring they align with organizational strategies and are delivered on time and within budget. Job Description

We are seeking an SAP Application Program Manager to lead SAP integration, enhancement, and migration projects. This position is full-time, hybrid, and a long-term contract.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure project goals related to SAP integration, enhancements, and migrations are met.

  • Develop an understanding of the business environment and use that understanding to make informed decisions and drive results.

  • Define program goals and objectives and align them with the organization's strategy.

  • Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget.

  • Manage risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with program management processes and standards.

  • Provide ongoing evaluation and improvements for program management processes and practices.

  • Provide day-to-day support for ongoing processes.

  • Work in needed areas to provide application support for the agency’s workload demands

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets

  • Proven leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams and ensure successful project delivery

  • Excellent risk management skills, with the capability to identify potential issues and implement effective mitigation strategies

  • Outstanding communication skills to effectively convey project status and progress to stakeholders and senior management

  • In-depth knowledge of program management processes and standards, with a commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement

  • Ability to provide day-to-day support and make informed decisions to drive results in alignment with organizational strategies

  • Ten (10) plus years of experience and/or relevant experience in the following areas:

  • Project Management

  • SAP Integrations

  • SAP Public Sector Financials

  • SAP Real Estate (RE)

  • SAP Project Systems (PS)

  • SAP Asset Accounting (AA)

  • SAP Grants Management (GM)

  • SAP General Ledger (GL)

  • SAP Controlling (CO)

  • SAP Funds Management (FM)

  • SAP Financial Accounting (FI)

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
