THE POSITION

We are seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join the Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS) team. This individual will be a member of the Intelligrated (IGS) HSE Installation Team, responsible for driving HSE continuous improvement, compliance, and engagement within Intelligrated. The role reports to the IGS Install Director HSE.

As an HSE Manager, the successful candidate must be results driven and able to develop strong relationships with our IGS Installation business leaders. The candidate must be compliance focused and provide hands-on support with the ability to deploy continuous improvement through a strong MOS; to drive goals, objectives, improve culture and behaviors.

We are looking for a strong people and process leader; capable of managing, coaching/mentoring HSE professionals across the IGS Installation team. The individual must be a well-rounded leader that can manage health, safety, and environmental programs in a construction environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute a compliance strategy, including the Honeywell HSE Field Work Management System. and regulatory requirements at all IGS Installation projects.

  • Drive injury reduction through cultural and behavioral initiatives.

  • Partner with the Intelligrated Installation leadership to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Reduce the risk profile of projects by identifying gaps through self-assessments, audits, GEMBA’s, and agency or 3rd party inspections.

  • Strong ability to use Six Sigma/Lean practices and principles to develop, deploy and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiencies.

  • Support Intelligrated projects with on-site reviews/visits/inspections to drive continuous improvement in HSE.

  • This role is Remote and must be able to Travel up to 60%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 6 plus years of progressive health and safety experience, with increased responsibility.

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in maintenance, construction, and manufacturing work environments.

PREFERRED

  • Preferred degree in safety, engineering, or related technical field.

  • Preferred, broad knowledge of Honeywell policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Knowledge and management experience with global aspects of HSE and Sustainability

  • Firm understanding of OSHA’s General industry standard as well as their Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)

  • Ability to communicate and influence decision making to all levels of the organization.

  • Strong collaboration, program management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives.

  • Mature judgment and decision-making ability with strategic and tactical HSE experience
