Director Total Rewards North America
The Director of Total Rewards for North America is responsible for managing the design, development and oversight of the benefit programs while ensuring compliance, equity within the organization and market competitiveness.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
Lead, analyze, design, and implement the organization's benefit programs including, but not limited to health and welfare plans, retirement plans, executive benefit programs, local allowances, voluntary benefit programs, discount programs, or benefit technology and tools to drive development and execution of an effective short-term and long-term departmental strategy
Leverage external networks to provide subject matter expertise on changing market conditions, legislation, best practices, and/or advancements in technology to develop benefit philosophy, strategic plans, and ensure policies and programs are aligned
Responsible for establishing and clearly communicating departmental strategy; providing feedback regarding tactical operations including resource allocation, goal setting, and managing performance. Determine and implement appropriate staffing.
Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement creative and proactive solutions to respond to organizational changes and remain compliant
Develop strategy for benefits training, coaching, and communications in response to business need; partner with stakeholders to create tailored approach and deliverables
Responsible for ensuring operational compliance for all the benefit programs and processes. This includes both internal program management as well as vendor management.
Direct team and provide Subject Matter Expertise in complex, large-scale, and company-wide initiatives, and develop metrics and dashboards to assist with project management
Manage technology, tools, and systems to support benefit related activities and serve as subject matter expert for HRIS and Payroll team
10+ years of experience in total rewards management, preferably in a BPO environment.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience of applicable HR Laws and regulatory compliance in benefits (ACA, ERISA, Section 125)
Experience with Workday and Microsoft Office
Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
Creative and process-driven, constantly looking for ways to improve effectiveness and offerings.
Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impact
Demonstrated ability to lead strategy behind mentoring and coaching for team(s) and to act as leadership advisor
Demonstrated ability to champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity
Extensive understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. Knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices
Advanced ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret
CEBS or equivalent designation preferred
