Kelly Services Chemical QC Lab Technician – Baton Rouge, LA in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking a Lab Technician for a chemical company in Baton Rouge, LA. The overall responsibility of the position is to conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and final products to ensure that they are within quality specifications.
Responsibilities
Analysis of samples per standard operating procedures to determine product quality
Primary analytical techniques include HPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer
Inputting of analytical results into SAP
Review analytical data with the team and provide input or guidance on next steps for out of conformance results
Calibration, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments
Requirements
BS degree in Chemistry or related discipline
2+ years of industry lab experience is preferred, but fresh graduates will be considered
Experience conducting laboratory tests using GC, Karl Fischer, and HPLC would be a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
TWIC certification or ability to acquire certification is required
This is a temp to hire position and the work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm. The pay rate for the position is $25 per hour. If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume for immediate consideration. #P1
