Weatherford Operations Support Coordinator - Wireline in Basra, Iraq

Job Overview

The Operations Support Coordinator provide excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional attitude while handling all incoming calls, receiving clients, visitors and vendors. Also, assist with general office administrative functions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations

  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System

  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement

  • Promptly and courteously greet and receive visitors, ascertains nature of business, and direct visitor to appropriate person or area.

  • Professionally answer and handle all incoming calls by providing excellent customer service to callers by routing calls to appropriate person.

  • Perform a variety of clerical and word processing functions.

  • May assist with scanning, reviewing and submitting of Accounts Payable documents.

  • Sorting, opening and distributing of in-coming mail.

  • Provide support by assisting in other functions as needed.

  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external

  • Supervisors are expected to actively engaging their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities

  • Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce

Qualifications

  • University Degree/Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years related experience

  • Master’s degree & 0-2 yrs experience

  • Prior receptionist and/or customer service related experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial

  • 3 - 4 Years of general clerical and administrative experience

Skills

  • Professional attitude with a strong customer service awareness and focus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

  • Proficient typing skills

  • General computer knowledge.

  • Able to work and interact with all levels of personnel

  • Strong organization and time-management skills

  • Proficient typing and word processing skills
