Insight Global Tableau QA Engineer in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Job Description
JD / Responsibilities :
UI of the dashboard & validating the data to compare the dashboard data to backend database
o Creating complex SQL queries from scratch to compare the data in dashboard to database
Manual testing is more priority (70-80%) than automation testing
o Do not have much automation in the environment currently was in the midst of researching tools to bring on hoping this person will have exposure to 1 automation BI tool to bring experience/ insights on it to the team to help make the decisions on which
The Tableau QA Engineer will work in Metrics, Analytics and Reporting Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Testing of Tableau Dashboards using both Manual Testing and Automation Testing methodology. The candidate will work closely with Tableau Engineers and Data Engineers. This is a technical hand-on role, and we are looking for a sharp technology focused candidate who have an acumen for data quality and a passion for TESTING.

Skills and Requirements
Must Have Skills :
BI validation automation tools open to any! datagaps, wiiisdom ops, selenium, tabjolt, etc.
Strong SQL querying experience ; complex queries from scratch mid level but from scratch
Testing background : manual & automation database/ dashboards / data quality etc.
Personality! Hands on technical position but wants to see the personality driven, eager, can banter with the others on the team
Plusses :
Pharmaceutical, clinical trial, life science related industry experience null
