VERIZON COMMUNICATIONS INC. Senior Engineer Consultant in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Senior Engineer Consultant needed by Verizon in Basking Ridge, NJ (Hybrid role, may work from home): Contribute to delivery of Contact Center AI (CCAI) solutions for customers; design new and innovative virtual agent solutions to enable digital transformation using Java, J2EE, Spring boot, SQL, Linux, micro services, web hooks, dialog flow, AWS, Postgres, etc.; co-develop virtual agent solutions with Google dialog flow and manage Google dialog flow for DA platform; build conversational interfaces and virtual agents for customers using core Google products; provide architectural design and solutions for complex problems and provide technical leadership; formulate, design and develop Conversational AI platform using Google Dialog Flow and Contact Center AI; design and develop various Chatbot experience leveraging highly scalable conversational platforms; manage various chatbot platforms; perform digital and non-digital product integration with conversational experiences; work on cloud enablement, design and development including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform; consult with other engineering staff to evaluate the operational and performance requirements; track performance metrics for Web and Mobile applications to meet the business targets. REQUIRES Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Java or Full Stack Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years in applications development using Java, J2EE, Web technologies (including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, and REST), relational databases, SQL, query optimizations, UNIX, Angular, and Agile methodologies. In lieu of a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the above. Experience therein to include 2 years with Google Dialog Flow, JavaScript, Chrome extension development, NodeJS, ExpressJS, and Looker; and 6 months with Ruby/Rails, Jasmine, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Ts.ED Framework. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
