What you’ll be doing...

Real Time Marketing is a key enabler to our vision of one-to-one marketing and personalization at scale. Our approach to Real Time Marketing (RTM) is grounded on rapid experimentation, leverages data and technology, and is driven by self-sufficient multi-functional teams following Agile ways of working.

The Campaign and Scale Scrum Lead (Scrum Lead) is a critical member of the Agile Real Time Marketing Home team, which is responsible for driving Home segment growth and achieving operational efficiencies by delivering relevant and timely content and experiences, orchestrated across all channels and devices, along the entire customer journey. You will have overall accountability for orchestrating the seamless operation of an Agile multi-functional group - a pod. This pod is expected to optimize performance of in-market campaigns; constantly in tune with and quickly responding to in-market signals so campaign targets are met or exceeded. In addition, this pod is also expected to scale tests that have been statistically proven to lead to incremental revenue for the Home business.

  • Prioritizes the work of the pod, across a portfolio of in-market campaign optimization opportunities and tests that once scaled will help us realize the business impact to deliver against the Agile RTM business case.

  • Influences the speed and sequence in which our emerging stack of marketing technology comes online so scaling can progressively happen in an accelerated, more sustainable, tech-driven fashion.

  • Owns optimization of in-market campaign performance - across all channels - in the Home Business.

  • Owns delivery of incremental RTM Home revenue targets, a key pillar of the overall acquisition Home revenue targets.

  • Ensures tests are scaled across relevant channels, media, and audiences.

  • Leads the successful integration of approved tests into mainstream processes.

  • Influences the testing direction of the Test and Learn sub-pod; helping avoid collisions by briefing them on upcoming campaigns, and serving as a source of testing ideas based on business insights.

  • Leads all Agile ceremonies for the sub-pod: sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Influences the technology enablement pod and the timing and sequence in which our emerging MarTech technologies come online.

  • Partners with the Integrated Marketing Manager to ensure proper planning, execution, and adherence to the VCG IM workflow processes.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in marketing or digital operations.

  • Experience working in a fast paced setting in which outcomes are time-boxed, and pivots in how to deliver against those outcomes are expected.

  • Experience with digital innovation tools (web analytics, personalization, media activation)

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA.

  • Ability to motivate and channel the energy of a group of functional experts that report into their respective functional leaders.

  • Ability to prioritize across a portfolio of in-market campaign optimization and test scaling opportunities.

  • Experience in agile project management.

  • Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi stakeholder environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience in segment, IM, or GTM marketing.

  • Understanding of media and creative briefs.

  • High level of business acumen.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
