Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Consultant to join a Customer Experience Design organization to support a new initiative within an Experience Design team. The role is being put in place to help inform design decision making. On a day to day basis candidates will be doing data discovery to gather insights that will lead to proactive design decisions. Candidates should have a background in digital experiences to understand the insights they will be looking to synthesize and gather, work to understand the context of what customers are doing on the products and applications, as well as work with consumer design stakeholders to teach and guide what the insights mean. The first step of this project is to do data discovery and deliver customer activity data points that will ultimately help solve design problems for the customer facing products. Candidates will be assessing existing experiences through data and making recommendations based off their data findings, on how current experiences can be improved. The future state of the project will be to understand what the data is telling of and work towards building a data model framework which will be a repeatable system to guide designers for future design development. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, as well as outreach with stakeholders to drive data backed experience design making decisions.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience as a data consultant, data analyst or digital analytics specialist
Excellent experience with data discovery, providing synthesis and analysis
Empath analysis - defining the customer journey path to help make better decisions for the product
Experience with customer analysis: defining the customer journey and supporting customer datasets
Understanding of data root cause analysis, decision trees and predictive models
Ability to support consumer facing environments and products, communicating directly with design stakeholders and executives
Tools: Adobe Analytics, Tableau, GSuite - docs, slides, sheets null
