Position Summary
This position is responsible forthe supplier interface across the program life cycle and all external developments. You will have to take a quantitative approach to risk management, monitoring and reporting financial performance and manage suppliers in the execution phase of build to print, development and entire sub-systems in regards of all SCM aspects.
Main Responsibilities
Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods and supplies
Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements and process efficiencies
Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy, and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiate refunds
Coordinate and interact with all internal stakeholders to ensure the on-time delivery of material, services and systems for the project
Plan, monitor and manage external product developments from start to completion, use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
Manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs
Controlling of project material budget to meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances
Set and lead commutation channels to ensure on time exchange of information to and from Suppliers
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Procurement or Engineering, or similar from an accredited university or business school
0-2 years of relevant work experience
Good understanding of business aviation environment
Solid knowledge of processes, procedures and concepts in functional area
