Teradyne Test Engineer (Automation Industrial Engineer) in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines

As a Automation Industrial Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering automation solutions recommendation based on factory simulation system to our key customers in the semiconductor industry across the worldwide region. The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to improve processes and work in dynamic projects with simulation that optimize the design and deployment of various automation solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting lean manufacturing simulation, 3D models, to

  • Addressing factory work flow Custom Automation Challenges

  • Enhancing Design Concepts through Simulation

  • Efficient System Integration Testing through Simulation

  • Research and Development of Innovative Solutions through Simulation

  • Plant Manufacturing Simulation, production and floor planning to achieve efficient processes including inventory, eRack, Mobile Cobot, TSC, RTD, MCS, etc.

  • Transportation simulation before implementing automation factory solutions.

  • Simulate the system integration test with all component inputs to improve efficiency vs. onsite testing

  • Simulate through the whole solution design, develop, deliver to meet best efficiency and output.

  • Through simulation, user gain insights into their existing production workshop efficiency, and then assess the efficiency improvement achieved with the introduction of robotic automation solutions.

    Basic Qualifications, Education & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Preferred experience with PTC Creo and AutoCAD, Solidworks, Universal Robots (UR) and/or Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), or similar cobot arms and AMRs.

  • Five or more years of experience in manufacturing/processing engineering

  • In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles

  • Hands-on experience building small prototypes

  • Proficiency with systematic tools, workflow time studies, and process balancing

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office
