Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to end users on a variety of issues both on-site and remotely.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Maintain system documentation and company IT assets Database.
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades as directed by the IT Director.
  • Design, create, update, and modify software and corresponding documentation based on the needs of the company.
  • Administer network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, antivirus, email security, etc.
  • Maintain company intranet page and associated content.
  • Install and configure wireless networking equipment and software.
  • Analyze data and generate reports based on relevant/current need.
  • Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency and enhance workflow.
  • Work with external partners, including consultants, agencies and vendors, to arrive at the most appropriate system or integration of multiple systems, as well as to support systems already in place.
  • Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously.
  • Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Work with all departments, employees, and visitors to ensure quality of customer service.
  • Fully manage the installation, configuration optimization and troubleshooting of all aspects of Windows, VMware ESXi & Linux servers
  • Installing components on networks and servers and ensuring they work in tandem and can be executed without compilation errors in various platforms and environments.
  • Managing the host environment to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity (including web servers, database servers, VMWare, Cisco, Citrix, SAN, directories, and blades).
  • Integrating and leading programs across organizations.
  • Ensuring the smooth flow of data throughout an organization, including resolving desktop computer and phone (video conferencing) issues.
  • Managing the security of computer systems and inter-application information transfers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
  • Required to work off hours for planned and unplanned events related to infrastructure support

Ideal candidate will possess:

-Understanding of compatibilities between various hardware and software, as well as underlying technologies involved.

-Able to use diagnostic utilities and other research tools for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

-Proficient in configuring VMware ESXi Host and Virtual Machines.

-Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and other networking protocols.

-Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.

-Experience with system and network performance monitoring tools.

-Excellent communication skills – clear verbal and written communication to be able to address people at all levels of the organization, including the executive level.

-Possess deep technical knowledge and extensive experience with complex IT environments, including applications, middleware, storage, networks, information security, and operations, and a solid understanding of cloud services, cloud-native architectures, and application delivery models

-3 years of Windows and/or Desktop Engineering, administering and knowledge of Office 365 applications (i.e., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Exchange Online, Azure AD and/or Single Sign On (SSO)) capable of creating windows-based images

-Strong technical skills in Microsoft Intune, including device management, application management, and compliance management.

-Strong technical skills in Autopilot profile creation, including device provisioning, MECM Device enrollment, and management.

-Accountable for the support and maintenance of databases within our Enterprise applications

-Solid understand of SQL Server

-Azure infrastructure experience, working with Azure virtual Machines, PaaS, access control (IAM), advanced knowledge of public cloud architecture and offerings (Azure), including serverless architecture, enterprise service business, scale on demand, DBaaS, IaaS. (Not A requirement but a Plus)

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical discipline required.

-A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience is required.
