Actalent QC Technician in BARTLETT, Illinois

Hours: Third Shift - 10PM - 6AM MONDAY - FRIDAY

Job Description:

  • Quality Control Technician responsible for daily testing procedures during the manufacturing process, ensuring that products comply with food safety and quality standards and written specifications.

  • Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) in process. Inspect incoming and finished materials.

  • Collect data for the entire manufactured products. The Quality Control Technician will also be responsible for calibrating and monitoring test instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

  • Monitor and verify CCPs, GMPs, and SSOPs.

  • Inspect incoming and finished materials.

  • Collect and document data results.

  • Perform pre-operational activities including visual inspections, ATP swabbing, and allergen swabbing.

  • Conduct GMP monitoring and training.

  • Perform chemical tests including pH, water activity (aw), and sensory evaluation.

  • Generate daily reports.

  • Manage product hold and release procedures.
