Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
Mowing, weed trimming, general upkeep of the grounds. Occasional painting or paint touching up of facilities, structure, or equipment.
Safely Operates, Maintains, cleans tools & Equipment.
Replace light fixtures, receptacles, light switches, light bulbs. Repairing or replacing plumbing fixtures as needed; Repair or replace heating/cooling vents. Maintains shop stock and material levels.
Reports Maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair exceeding on-site repair capabilities.
Coordinates with external organizations facility maintenance and repair activities as needed (plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems).
Submits and tracks status of Facility service calls, work requests, job orders, and service call to building manager.
Identify facility maintenance requirements and initiate work requests using applicable host base civil engineering forms and processes.
Routine Maintenance on portable man lifts.
Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repair of lawn mowers and other gas-powered equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repair of golf carts.
Update Vehicle Control Officer Book as required. (VCO alt.).
Routinely pressure wash sidewalks/buildings, etc.
Move furniture/equipment as required.
Escort Visitors in the “restricted Area” as required.
Maintain cleanliness of Vehicle parking areas.
Conduct inventories of government and company owned tools.
Performs other assigned tasks as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED.
Valid Driver License.
An active Secret security clearance, or higher.
Desired Qualifications:
- One (1) year general maintenance experience preferred.
