Tatros Appliance is seeking English language learners interested in learning how to install and repair appliances.
Experience is helpful but not necessary.
You should have an interest in learning the English language and a long-term opportunity with a stable and growing company. We are a tight knit family-oriented organization that values and respects employees.
Individuals will have the opportunity to build relationships within the community and train with Appliance Service Technicians that have extensive knowledge and experience in the field.
You will learn how to independently complete the tasks listed below and more:
Install, service, and repair electrical and gas appliances, such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, and air conditioning in customers homes or businesses
Provide exceptional customer service
Travel to multiple work sites to perform installation, repair, or maintenance work
Establish relationships with customers and talk to them to determine the nature of appliance malfunctions
Disassemble appliances so that problems can be diagnosed, and repairs can be made
Read work orders or descriptions of problems to determine repairs or modifications needed
Read technical information needed to perform maintenance or repairs
Advise others on issues related to repairs, installation, or equipment design
Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts
Maintain repair or maintenance records.
Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliances
Provide repair cost estimates and recommend whether appliance repair or replacement is a better choice
Estimate costs for labor or materials
Bill customers for repair work and collect payment
