Legal Profile-Expert Liability (Hybrid)

We are looking for a candidate to join our Legal & Liability loss adjusting team. The selected candidate will have the following roles:

  • Management of claims, mainly with international profile (foreign client, claimant or loss location)

  • Prepare and present case workplans to client and follow on with them.

  • Loss Adjustment report writing, both on a standalone basis and in collaboration with in-house or external technical experts.

  • Loss quantum assessment & validation (material damage, business interruption, bodily injury)

  • Negotiation with involved parties up to case settlement.

  • Interaction with external lawyers / counsel.

Your competencies:

  • A degree in Law, with an interest in foreign jurisdictions. Specific formation in Liability an asset.

  • Sound knowledge of insurance claims management (Liability, Marine, Property, Recoveries)

  • Over 3 years relevant experience with a Loss Adjuster, broker or insurance company.

  • Report-writing experience, good communication skills

  • An interest in developing a career as an insurance loss adjuster (including claims assessment and calculations)

  • An interest in international and cross-border claims.

  • Sound level of English (min. B2). Other languages an asset

Descripción del puesto:

Estamos buscando a un candidato para el área de peritaciones de Legal y RC de la compañía. El candidato seleccionado será responsable de las siguiente funciones:

  • Gestión de siniestros y reclamaciones, a menudo de ámbito internacional. (clientes extranjeros, reclamantes u ubicación)

  • Preparación y presentación a clientes de plan de trabajo, y su seguimiento.

  • Redacción de informes periciales, individualmente o en colaboración con las áreas técnicas de la compañía

  • Cuantificación de perjuicios económicos, o validación de los mismos

  • Negociación con las partes implicadas hasta la resolución del caso

  • Interlocución con abogados externos

Requisitos:

  • Licenciado en Derecho, valorable ADE, con interés otras jurisdicciones. Formación específica en RC valorable

  • Conocimiento de la técnica aseguradora y de la gestión de siniestros (áreas de RC, daños, transporte, recobros)

  • Experiencia previa de más de 3 años en peritación/gestión de siniestros o en Forensic services de Consultoría

  • Experiencia en elaboración de informes periciales y en valoración de reclamaciones.

  • Interés por desarrollar su carrera en el ámbito de la peritación (interés por la valoración, manejo numérico)

  • Alta capacidad de comunicación escrita y hablada.

  • Nivel alto de inglés. Mínimo B2 acreditado.
