Front of House Staff. 9 temporary, full-time positions. 04/01/2025 to 11/14/2025. MBR, Inc. d/b/a Route 66 Restaurant located at 21 Cottage Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609. Email: info@bhroute66.com. Duties: Greeting customers, setting up dining areas, taking and place guest orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, preparing coffee and occasionally preparing basic cocktails, cleaning and clearing tables, handling cash and interacting with a POS system, vacuuming, wiping down chairs and baseboards in dining area. 35 hours/week. Varying number of hours per workday depending on shift Sun-Sat. Shift vary by week: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 2pm-10pm, or 3pm-11pm. 5-20 hours of OT possible. No minimum education required. No minimum experience is required. Wage: \$21.67/hr; OT Wage: \$32.51/hr (including tips, with the possibility of more based on tips). Workers paid weekly. Housing Assistance: Optional board/lodging available at a cost to be deducted from pay if elected. Cost of housing: up to \$125/week. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least \$15.88/day during travel to a maximum of \$59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of total employment period.
