Naval Facilities Engineering Command SUPV ASSET MANAGEMENT BUSINESS LINE LEADER in Bangor, Washington
You will serve as the Asset Management (AM) Business Line Leader (BLL) within the Asset Management Business Line (AMBL) of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
You will provide policy and guidance to the Product Line Leaders (PLL), Asset Management (AM) core staff, as well as the Public Works Department (PWD) Leaders within the business line and serve as the direct supervisor of the AM core organization.
You will respond to the impact of changing requirements effecting financial resource demands reflected in year-to-year resourcing efforts while ensuring missions are met.
You will utilize High Velocity Learning (HVL), benchmarking, lessons learned and other tools to achieve greater efficiencies and effectiveness.
You will facilitate the acquisition strategy for AM business line contracts for the Command, working closely with other BLLs and with the Acquisition Office.
You will serve as the senior executive of the Command for overall program management of the AM business line and ensure the business line is successful in meeting the needs of Supported Commanders.
You will be responsible for management of the communities which exist within respective business lines.
Conditions of Employment
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing asset management programs involving Real Estate, Special Venture Acquisitions, Shore Infrastructure and Investment Planning, Land Use Planning, Real Property Accountability, and/or Geospatial Information Systems and Services; 2) Applying advanced concepts, principles and practices to solve unique issues and provide solutions for planning, real estate and Public Private Venture acquisition matters; 3) Exhibiting mastery in management principles and concepts with expert abilities in timely accomplishment of objectives within resource constraints and planning, budgeting, implementation, and achievement monitoring; 4) Guiding, motivating and directing large groups of people in achieving asset management objectives; and 5) Leading executive and political level policy makers on program issues.
