You will serve as a Refit Manager in the Business and Program Support Department of Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Bangor WA. Responsibilities You will serve as a Refit Manager to coordinate advanced refit planning efforts for our fleet of Submersible Ship Ballistic Nuclear (SSBN) Submarines. You will mitigate complex factors such as schedule changes, ship conditions, system line-up and maintenance plan changes. You will perform logistical review of work performed on TRIDENT Class Submarines. You will develop and maintain applicable TRIDENT Class Availability Work Packages (AWP). You will analyze, evaluate, deconflict, and recommend alternative solutions for Refit Work Packages. You will serve as the Liaison in the development and implementation of new and revised planned maintenance requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Trident Refit Facility in Bangor, WA is seeking a highly skilled Refit Manager to coordinate advanced refit planning efforts for our fleet of Submersible Ship Ballistic Nuclear (SSBN) Submarines to serve in the Business and Program Support Department (Code 900) of Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Bangor WA. To qualify at the GS-12 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing program management services relative to the refit planning, and analysis of the TRIDENT Class Submarines maintenance plan. To qualify at the GS-11 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistics review, refit planning and execution, or analysis in support of the TRIDENT Class Submarines maintenance plan.
