Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will serve as the Server Team Lead within the Enterprise IT division at SWFPAC. You will provide Life Cycle Management services for developing and deployed technologies and provides Cyber Security (CS) products to the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure CS policies and services for deployed systems. You will manage and oversee the configuration and optimization of server architecture to support the full range of IT services. You will configure and maintains services in support of Non-sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET). You will oversee configuration and updates of server infrastructure to comply with vulnerability management and STIG requirements. You will write Standard Operating Procedures to adapt operating policies, instructions or procedures and convey operating instructions. You will define and validate the need for proposed new server capabilities through consultation with SWFPAC and SPCIO headquarters organizations. You will perform as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DOD NIPR/SIPR and PIT servers, server operating systems (OS), overseeing the implementation of configuration changes required for modernization, maintenance or to facilitate repairs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assessing system development projects, refining customer requirements, and working with developers to optimize server performance and ensure smooth system operations. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business Management & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This is a Nuclear Deterrent Mission position. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
