Covenant Health MATERIALS MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN in Bangor, Maine
Position Summary:
The Materials Management/Mail Room Technician will be responsible for all phases of receiving product, picking orders, delivering product, scanning PAR locations, and mail room services. Must be able to drive a delivery truck. Inventory related work experience and prior hospital experience are preferred. Detailed work involving computers is required. Interpersonal and communication skills are required. Computer keyboard skills, faxes, scanning, email required. Highly organized, flexible with the ability to work in environments both indoors and outdoors. Ability to work with people in a fast-paced environment. This position may have access to highly confidential patient information at times and must handle & protect the information in accordance with hospital & departmental protocol, HIPAA requirements and the highest level of ethical standard. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a team player and be consistent with St. Joseph Healthcare Mission.
The starting rate for this position is: $16.08.
Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: 1 – 3 years (minimum of 2 yrs exp)
