Description
The ASEAN Specialist team at AWS is looking for an SAP Specialist Solutions Architect to help architect SAP solutions on AWS for our customers across ASEAN. If you like to working with SAP products deployed on the latest technologies, we’d like to meet you. Your work will help ASEAN customers leverage the benefits of the AWS cloud by running their business-critical SAP systems on AWS.
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
As an SAP Specialist SA in the ASEAN Specialist Team, you bring in the critical SAP knowledge & experience that will help our customers leverage the power of the AWS cloud for their SAP workloads. You will be the go-to person for providing guidance on SAP architectures and best practices. In this role you will be
Architecting SAP solutions on AWS
Showcasing the power of leveraging AWS for running SAP workloads.
Enabling AWS field teams on various aspects of running SAP products on AWS.
Showcasing thought leadership by authoring high quality content in form of whitepapers, blog posts etc.
Representing AWS as a speaker in large conferences and events.
A day in the life
What does the day in the life of an SAP Specialist SA look like? You will
Collaborate with a group of domain specialists
Work on complex problems to identify solutions for our customers.
Work as a trusted advisor to our customers and the ASEAN leadership.
Provide technology guidance to customers and the field teams.
Represent AWS in large conferences and events.
Create mechanisms that help you scale your role.
Coach and mentor and help Amazon Hire and Develop the Best

The ASEAN Specialist Team is a team of domain experts with deep expertise and experience in their technology domains. The Specialist SA team is responsible for technology/thought leadership working across the entire lifecycle of engagement with our customers in ASEAN. They strive to be the trusted advisors for our customers and are key contributors to the technology strategy in ASEAN.

Basic Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure
Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
Preferred Qualifications
Experience architecting for SAP workloads on AWS.
Industry/Cloud Certifications including AWS & SAP certifications
Experience in architecting around key areas such as security, performance, resilience and scale.
Experience with migrating SAP workloads to AWS.
