The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients which means some of the biggest in the world.

You are expected to:

  • Maintain the Netcool servers and user management and associated Incident, Change and Problem handling

  • Deploy, configure and administer, NMS/EMS IBM Tivoli Netcool Suit of Products and Customization in Netcool/Omnibus, Probes, Gateways, WebGUI, ITM, Netcool Impact, Jazz for SM

  • Have working experience on IBM Tivoli Netcool Omnibus customized configuration and deployment in multi-tier architecture

  • Have knowledge of account and new node registrations on BlueCare and Netcool WebGui

  • Work on Autocall registration on customer demand and ACT/ADT application tasks

  • Have working knowledge of API user's password reset and certificate renewal, user and password change activity, GNM API user and token update activity, maintenance.

  • Maintain and have sound understanding with working knowledge of SNOW integration, CACF integration, and Play book development

  • Have SME/architect level expertise to handle the Event and Monitoring work using ITM, Netcool, Science Logic and Zabbix

  • Managing user and permissions. Propose & support automation processes and tools to streamline deployments across multiple environments.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 7- Years experience in event and monitoring of heterogenous infrastructure

  • Subject Matter expert on Netcool servers, ITM, ScienceLogic and Zabbix configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting

  • Experience of Autocall and event suppressions in enterprise environment

  • Configuration and customizations experience in M&E management environments

  • Troubleshooting of the events/incidents raised

  • Troubleshooting of Netcool. ITM, Science logic, Zabbix

  • CACF and ServiceNow integration and automation

  • Integration of Netcool and other monitoring tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation and management

  • Linux/AIX server deployment, configuration and troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of virtualization and VMware ESXi experience

  • Public/private cloud management. Especially migration from on-prem to cloud solution

  • Automation experience, especially IaaS (infrastructure as a code)

  • Excel and macro execution L3 knowledge

  • Vulnerability management

  • Knowledge of service management, Devops, and ITIL
