Continental Technical Project Leader - Light Control Unit in Bangalore, India

The Technical Project Leader (TPL) represents all R&D functions within the Project Core Team.

The TPL is responsible for product design, development and verification and validation and is the main interface to the customer regarding technical topics

The TPL coordinates the technical disciplines (System, Software, Electrical, Mechanical and Testing) within the multilocation project teams

The TPL leads and manages the technical part of the project within the specified time, budget and quality and is responsible for the overall technical consistency of engineering activities within this project.

Education: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E in Electronics Engineering

Experience: Total of 7 to 10 years of experience in the automotive Industry and minimum of 2 years of experience in technical project management

Skills:

Experience in Automotive ECU development life cycle (quote to industrialisation)

Knowledge of Automotive industry standards, processes, rules.

Ability to evaluate the project development maturity and to release sample deliveries

Stakeholder management and customer engagement.

Knowledge and application of project management procedures like Risk Management, Problem Resolution (e.g. A3), Change and configuration Management Escalation Management and Lessons Learned

Knowledge and application of project management methods and tools (like mpp)

Knowledge of analyzing and monitoring/reporting the objectives and project status

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical design basics

Knowledge of SW development process.

Knowledge on design validation, product validation, test standards and quality standards.

Knowledge in communication protocols like CAN, LIN, UDS, XCP etc.

Leadership qualities: Driving the project execution, Decision making, Communication and presentation skills, Intercultural sensitivity.
