What You'll Do at Pega:

• Impact and drive Pega to help us with our Pega Cloud "as-a-Service" evolution

• Help support high-level architectural specifications, ensuring functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms with large clients.

• Generate conceptual/logical architectures, and risk assessments

• Evaluate new and emerging technologies and determine applicability to current and future projects and markets

• Communicate with a team of developers, consultants, Product owners, and Pega clients about project progress and risk, presenting alternative approaches and plans when appropriate

• Review technical architecture for integration with third party technologies

Who You Are:

You are a developer who is interested in solving complex business problems and committed to customer success.

• Exposure to a variety to technologies, including object-oriented techniques/principles (e.g. Java, C#) database design, application & web servers is desired

• Experience in business process management and case management implementations is preferred

• A quick learner with excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

• Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results.

• Collaborative and team oriented

What You've Accomplished:

• Desired experience in deploying, and running cloud native workloads using Kubernetes, microservices, and other cloud native technologies; certifications in Kubernetes (CKAD, CKA, CKS, AWS, Azure or GCP) is good to have.

• 4 to 7 years of work experience driving technical and non-functional requirements critical to achieving the client success. This includes (but is not limited to), Architecture, Containerization, and cloud technologies.

• Good understanding of applications in clustered deployments and distributed systems

• Experience deploying software in containers like Docker

• Knowledge of databases including Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL (Cassandra)
