The Systems Specialist for Cytiva is part of the India R&D organization located in Bangalore and will be onsite in nature. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work on the Design, development, for life cycle management projects in the Bioprocessing Upstream systems for Cytiva.
Develop innovative design solutions to meet all requirements for function, performance, regulatory needs, reliability, serviceability, pertaining to Bioprocessing Upstream systems.
Work on the Automation Hardware Design projects which will include Developing innovative design solutions to meet all requirements for function, performance, regulatory needs, reliability, serviceability, pertaining to Life sciences Bio-Process industrial automation hardware systems which consists of PLC, Motor drives, sensors, and Control Automation H/W interfaces. Experience in creation of Automation electrical schematics, wiring drawings, PnID drawings etc. Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOM) creation etc.
Work on the Life cycle management projects mainly on the change management i.e. Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO). Hands on working on the Prototyping, Verification and Validation of these systems.
The essential requirements of the job include:
BE in Electronics/Instrumentation and controls Engineering. A minimum of 6-8 years industrial experience in design and development and has participated in full product design cycle end to end.
Proven expertise in Automation hardware development-Experience in selection and Design of PLC, Motor drives, Power supplies, I/O devices, Sensors, I/O Panels, and proven expertise in integrating these devices to the system.
Expertise in design/selection/creation/modification of electrical schematics for wiring sensors, transmitters, devices, etc. in I/O cabinets. Experience with 2D electrical computer aided design like AutoCAD Electrical/3D tools like E-Plan.
Experience in design of I/O cabinets for Automation panel, Components selection, layout design of cable/wire routings for I/O cabinets etc.
Experience in working with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) & Engineering Change Requests (ECR). Full knowledge of PLM or Equivalent. Working knowledge in design verification and testing, defect handling and ALM systems.
Hands on experience in design calculations-Power, Thermal etc. Critical components selection and evaluation for system level design. Demonstrated ability to design industrial automation hardware systems to meet regulatory standards (NFPA, CE Marking, UL508A, LVD etc.).
