Amazon Sr. Technical Program Manager, International Machine Learning in Bangalore, India
Description
International Machine Learning org is seeking an exceptional Technical Program Manager to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of Amazon-wide technical programs and projects that are critical to the success of our business unit.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will leverage your strong project management expertise, technical acumen, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver value to the org and Amazon. Your core responsibilities will include:
Understanding the priority and strategy of org wide programs that strive for Engineering Excellence and Operational efficiency, Continuously optimizing processes and tooling to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Machine Learning platform product that aims to leap-frog scientist productivity
Understanding and working with rapidly evolving Machine Learning ecosystem including LLMs
Breaking down large, complex initiatives into actionable tasks and milestones, and driving the execution of these programs.
Partnering closely with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and delivery.
Identifying and mitigating risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to keep programs on track
Clearly communicating program status, decisions, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in technical program/project management, with experience in cloud computing, distributed systems, or other complex technical domains being desirable. You should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
