Optiv Sr. Engineer - Hardware Security Module (HSM) | Onsite, Bangalore in Bangalore, India

How You’ll Make an Impact

Serve as a primary technical responder for overall HSM related activities like cryptographic keys and provisioning encryption, decryption, authentication, and digital signing services for a wide range of applications

Work with other cryptography teams to select the best solutions involving HSMs

Practical experience with both certification security encryption and file level security encryption.

Project requirements analysis, technical design, and implementation activities.

Testing and documentation on new versions of HSM hardware and firmware.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on HSM management and cryptographic solutions.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.

End to End management of Thales HSMs, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Design, implement, and manage cryptographic solutions using Thales HSMs.

Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.

Create and update technical documentation, including lifecycle, configuration, and security requirements.

Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.

Work with other security and cryptography teams to select and implement the best solutions involving HSMs.

Provide training and support to internal teams on HSM usage and best practices.

Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions
