Cisco Software Engineer - C/C++ Developer| Networking domain | 7-12 Years Exp | 1423883 in Bangalore, India

Catalyst Engineering IOS XE designs and develops high-performance system software for various Cisco Platforms which includes Enterprise Switching & Routers, wireless , Service Provider Routing Platforms. What You have for us

  • You hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • You have 8+ years of proven experience

  • You have hands-on experience in one or more of these technology areas: Core Operating system, Networking technologies / Infrastructure development, L2/L3 Protocols, Cloud technologies, Ansible, Programmability - YANG Data Model development, Netconf/RestConf, Google RPC, Google Protocol buffers

  • You are a top-tier programmer and you know C/C++, Python very well.

  • You are strong in OS / Network protocols knowledge

  • You have strong passion and experience in fixing, debugging complex systems and posses excellent problem-solving techniques

What you will do :

  • Work with product management and product teams to understand requirements.

  • Think about customer use case and deployment scenarios and continuously innovate and improvise to make customer's life easy

  • Teams to design and implement features, application logic, back-end systems and robust and scalable architectures

  • Write requirements, architecture and design specs, unit test plans

  • Design/Code/Test in a CI/CD environment

  • Review documents and code written by rest of the team

  • Uphold the highest standards of quality from documentation, coding and automated checks

  • Work independently on complex issues and implement optimal solutions on a predetermined timeline

  • Work with product marketing and product engineering to understand and shape product roadmap

  • Coach and mentor Junior team members
