IBM Service Coordinator in Bangalore, India

Your Role and Responsibilities

As Business Operations you are responsible for co-ordinating and processing Services Statements of Work, providing Project Administration support to projects, and requesting invoices for project labour


Sales assistance in processing SOWs

  • Taking SOW Request (includes change requests & DOUs) processing through BI sales from start to end which include but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Customer information check

  • Credit check

  • Pricing using GPE Tool

  • Submit other required checklists (eg: Revenue splitting)

  • Submitting for Various approvals for (pricing, QAR Reviews, Bid Signoff

  • Submit contract registrations via ES to the Q2C team (Q2C then register in CFTS)

Support Delivery Managers:

  • Initiating the procurement requests when external resources are required

  • Submit Bond Requests for approval as required

  • IVPNs

  • Co-ordinating timesheets & project acceptances

Additional Back End Support:

  • Submission of Invoicing & Credits to the Q2C team

  • Submit Work Numbers update requests to the Q2C team

  • Create Internal Work numbers

  • Submit advise to Bill and Advice to credit via ES to the Q2C team (Q2C will then process in CFTS)

  • Submit ICA requests for overseas resources

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluent in English

  • 1 year of IT experience

  • Basic understanding of Cognos

  • Valid understanding or experience in Agile ways of working

  • Working knowledge of tools like Mural, Slack and Trello

  • Must be a team player

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge of IBM SWG Brands and sub-Brands

  • Positive working attitude with a strong customer service focus

  • Can confidently work in an Agile environment

  • Proven soft skills, analytical skills, team player, excel skills and end user support

  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

About Business UnitThis position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.
