Do you have a passion for managing Windows and Lab engineering environment? Do you enjoy solving complex problems? We are looking for an experienced information systems and technology professional to join the team providing subject matter expertise in IS&T Team. The Systems Lead will tackle interesting Engineering challenges impacting Windows/Network/Lab/Security in hybrid cloud environment around the globe in collaboration with a dedicated group of subject matter experts embedded within the Microsoft Silicon Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft’s Silicon engineering Windows and Lab efforts in Asia

• Define and then track key progress indicators for Silicon engineering windows & lab support

• Contribute to Windows and Lab Architecture discussions in Asia and Globally

• Automate common engineering tasks

• Participate in global team projects, and handle operational tasks in India timezone

• Work across organizational boundaries to coordinate with other subject matter experts and achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting Windows systems on an enterprise network (required)

• 2+ years of experience with PowerShell, Python or other scripting languages. PowerShell preferred. (required)

• BA/BS or MS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience. (required)

• Experience administering Windows servers in an enterprise-wide Active Directory (preferred)

• Experience with managing Data Center / Lab Networks (preferred)

• Good understanding of IT requirements like Network Cabling, Power and Cooling in Datacenter or Lab (preferred)

• Experience troubleshooting cross platform Windows/Network/Storage/Security (preferred)

• Experience administering Storage Spaces Direct or Azure Stack HCI or other Hyper Converged solutions (preferred)

• Associate or Expert level certification in Azure (preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. (preferred)
