Our full-stack teams build and maintain our web applications, which manages millions of network devices from our cloud. Our customers use the Meraki dashboard to supervise and configure critical IT infrastructure that serves 100s of millions of people every single day.

Meraki Dashboard is expanding to manage all of Cisco’s switching portfolio.

Meraki Bangalore switching team is growing fast and needs an experienced, senior manager, who is highly technical and knows how to build great teams.

What You'll Do

You are a deeply motivated and skilled senior manager with deep technical expertise and managerial experience. You are hands on, can review code, review design, analyze test results, and have experience as a manager of managers.

You will manage a combination of dev and testing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Be a site leader for Meraki switching group in Bangalore. Lead and manage a team of Dashboard Cloud software developers and test engineers and leads, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

  • Attract, hire and retain top talent.

  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with geographically distributed teams to ensure program delivery and success

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality.

  • Develop a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.

  • Quality first attitude with metric driven approach

Required skills:

  • 10+ years of experience with BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience in managing and leading software development teams, out of which at least 2 years as a manager of managers.

  • Experience working in a dotted line reporting team structure

  • Strong understanding of networking and wired switching, including L2/L3 wired networking protocols

  • Experience and understanding in cloud programming.

  • Proven track record of successfully building and leading teams delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with extended teams.
