Graph Connectors enable customers to extend Microsoft Graph to include external data sources, further grounding Copilot and making it an even more powerful source for finding and consuming organizational knowledge. The Connectors Copilot team enables customers to discover the data that matters to them via Copilot as well as Workplace Search, improve their productivity and achieve business outcomes faster.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong engineer to build systems for the next generation search infrastructure using generative AI which enable M365 Copilot offerings. Microsoft is uniquely at the center of this opportunity, and we have the responsibility to advance the frontiers of generative AI in the ever expanding digital world.

This is a Senior SWE role with opportunity for deep technical impact, product excellence and culture role model with opportunity for advancement. The role involves application of computer science fundamentals, problem solving and growth mindset to design and implement various systems and features for next generation search infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with C, C++ or Java

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Passion to work in the transformational cloud/AI infrastructure and technologies

• Experience in working with distributed teams.

• Experience in working with highly complex software services at internet scale

• Independently handle design and implementation of feature areas of right complexity

• Strong customer focus and passion for doing the right thing for the customer

• Ability to quickly pick up existing concepts and employ new techniques and strong problem solving
