Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled developer to join our team with minimum 3-5 years of experience working in MAC/Linux OS development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of macOS/Linux internals, a solid foundation in software development principals & driver development. Candidate should be able to debug complex issues in macOS/Linux and should have passion to develop new features.
About Role:
This Role requires you to have solid understanding of Operating System concepts preferably in any flavor of Linux or MAC. You will be working closely with research engineers and develop features to detect malware attacks meant to target MAC & Linux machines. Role requires understanding of basic principals of networking, file execution and ability to debug the crashes/file activity within contained Operating System environment.
About You:
. 3-5 years experience in low-level system programming & driver development in macOS/Linux
. Understanding of OS internals, system APIs & security framework
. Knowledge on memory management, performance tuning, multithreading & various OS events.
. Good programming skills in Objective-C, C/C++ & OOPS concepts is desired.
. Should be up-to-date with change in macOS technologies & incorporate latest tools as part of development/debugging
. Knowledge of networking concepts like TCP/IP, HTTP, Sockets, DNS etc
. Knowledge of macOS development tools and framework e.g. Xcode, Cocoa would be beneficial
. Ability to debug complex issues encountered during development as well as issues observed at customer's environment
. Knowledge of any scripting languages like Python, Shell script & familiarity with virtualized environment like ESXi, HyperV would be beneficial
. Knowledge in the area of cyber security would be added advantage
. Should be able to write clean & maintainable code
