Diageo Senior General Manager - Supply Productivity in Bangalore, India
Job Description :
Purpose of Position
The role aims to collaborate with internal stakeholders to conceive, launch, and successfully implement productivity initiatives across various supply sectors. Additionally, it involves curating a repository of ideas for future implementation, all aimed at achieving the supply productivity goals of USL-Diageo.
The individual will be accountable for delivery of productivity targets for the business.

Prioritisation of Projects basis Value enhancement or Value engineering, ease of implementation, complexity and Value generation
Investments (CAPEX / OPEX)
Selection of External Partners wherever needed like consultants

Productivity savings (AOP & IOP) for

Leadership Responsibilities
Role Holder will lead pipeline development for next 3 years to meet the targets
Role Holder will govern the program along with Finance Lead, reviewing status, risks and opportunities across functions to ensure delivery
Role Holder will help mitigate risks and issues by deep diving into specific projects and seeking support of the Council and ExCom where required.
Role Holder will ensure projectization of all ideas, with firm timelines and validated savings and charters for all key projects
Role Holder will hold review meetings with Program Sponsors, Productivity Council, Excom on a regular basis to provide them latest and most accurate updates and seek their support, input where needed
Role Holder will create a culture of cost-consciousness and productivity mindset across the organization

Qualifications and Experience Required
Qualifications
Graduate Engineer (BE / B Tech) with an MBA from premium B Schools
Experience
Industry Experience: Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in productivity improvement roles within the consumer goods, manufacturing, or beverage industry directly or indirectly.
Project Management: Proven experience leading cross-functional projects focused on efficiency gains and cost reduction
Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to identify
opportunities for improvement and measure impact
Prior 3 – 4 years of consulting experience with one of the top business consulting firms will be an added advantage.

Senior leadership roles in Supply across Procurement, Planning and Logistics or Manufacturing.
