Vontier Senior Business Continuity Analyst in Bangalore, India
As the Senior Business Continuity Analyst – Business Resilience Services, you will work across the organization to identify and assess vulnerabilities related to financial, reputational, regulatory, and operational impacts as well as support the development, implementation, and operations of a robust resilience program. You will assist in the development of the strategy for program execution by applying extensive expertise, while exhibiting an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and sourcefulness. This position reports to the Business Resilience Manager and is a remote role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
• Support the execution of an effective end-to-end control BCMS framework.
• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to: Conducts the three phases of the BC planning process: 1) business impact
• analysis done collaboratively with various teams, 2) analyze and use BIA results into business continuity plans, and 3) conduct exercises that test a team’s
• ability to use business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with operating companies’ critical locations and functions to develop a global resilience strategy and plan to minimize disruption and enable
• availability.
• Establish and maintain key partnerships across the organization’s support areas to ensure business continuity planning and incident response are
• incorporated in all facets of the organization.
• Build successful stakeholder relationships with business partners and IT by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor,
• and ensuring effective delivery of Business Resilience services to meet those needs.
• Identify and improve meaningful business resilience metrics and key risk indicators (KRI) to drive transparency and awareness to key stakeholders.
Response / Readiness
• Conduct periodic roundtable exercises (tabletops) with key stakeholders across the operating companies with formal documentation/tracking.
• Be apprised of incidents and events to aid reporting when necessary; perform detailed reviews of trends to identify significant risks for monitoring and remediation.
• Continue to leverage technological advancements to automate manual tasks.
• Prepare for and participate in response to ongoing business disruptions.
• Support incident processes globally where needed.
• Facilitate formal incident postmortems.
WHO YOU ARE
• 5+ years Business Continuity experience
• Knowledgeable and experienced in business resilience, continuity, incident response and crisis management best practices and able to apply knowledge on a global scale.
• Experience building comprehensive Business Continuity programs.
• Familiarity with related existing and emerging industry regulatory requirements related to business continuity, disaster recovery and resilience.
• Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
• Ability to extract meaningful information from extensive research and analysis to effectively present facts and findings in a digestible format; a keen eye for attention to detail; ability to bring new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes.
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills; strong customer focus.
• A self-directed individual with a can-do attitude, willing to work in an energetic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, proactive in nature, and a proven ability to learn quickly, display flexibility and adaptability while resolving issues with minimal supervision.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands; strong time management and prioritization skills while coordinating with team members across various time zones.
• Calmness and clarity of thought under pressure and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel, approximately 20% domestically and internationally.
Preferred but not required:
• CBCP or other related Business Continuity certifications preferred.
• SaaS and Manufacturing sector experience
• IT DR experience
• Familiarity with O365 and PowerBI
