JD : Technical Project Manager

Experience: 10+ years of work experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in defining & setting up large scale global programs, driving product roadmaps, generating customer insights, translating these insights into implementable requirements, drive operational excellence and setup execution rigor to deliver to business outcomes. Has strong technology experience, can provide inputs to and influence architecture & technology decision-making. Experience in end-to-end ecosystem engineering and/or cyber-physical systems a significant plus, but not mandatory. Possesses superior communication and influencing skills, can engage senior stakeholders

Roles and responsibilities

  • Work with customers & marketing teams to develop a deep understanding of customer needs

  • Work with platform teams to develop a deep understanding of existing / new technology capabilities to address customer needs

  • Synthesize customer & technology insights into prototypes and product capability roadmaps

  • Influence stakeholders on product vision, strategic intent & design objectives, business cases

  • Drive E2E technical system design and architecture across functional teams for their assigned solutions.

  • Develop detailed product & technical specifications

  • Enable clarity on customer experience related non-functional requirements (usability, performance, security, etc.)

  • Work with platform teams to translate specs to features & requirements

  • Prioritize requirements and refine scope in alignment with schedule, resource and quality

  • Develop, maintain, and report on program plans, metrics and dashboards

  • Anticipate program risks, carry out in-depth risk assessment and develop mitigation / tradeoff plans

  • Lead Agile sprint planning, develop user stories, manage backlog at Scrum of Scrum levels

  • Assume responsibility and drive ownership of issue resolution and process improvements across lifecycle and ecosystem

  • Manage releases to launch through product life cycle

  • Manage partner ecosystem to ensure high quality testing and product integration

  • Work with customer support teams on beta testing, warranty cost reduction, serviceability and supportability

  • Define and enable CPE strategy & releases for ongoing product updates, customer enhancements, big deals

  • Manage supplier ecosystem and contract performance

  • Measure and manage benefits during and after release to close loop on business case and enable change

  • Perform retrospective analysis, institutionalize improvements for continuous learning
