What we’re looking for from you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Engineer , with previous experience in Enterprise-level applications and integrations, working well within and across teams and transparently to stakeholders and management.

The person should have experience in Agile development methodologies including scrum and possess the ability to plan and oversee the independent initiatives, process, and tasks. They should observe and adapt, suggesting improvements to the overall process to adhere to the highest standards and fulfill business requirements. The candidate should have a willingness and synergy to take up new challenges, with the capability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and support our platform across the Identity, Access, and Monetisation pillars for News UK tech product catalog.

  • ProvidecustomizedsolutionsusingtheSalesforceplatform

  • ExtensiveexperiencewithSalesforceLightningplatform

  • Consistently deliver high-quality software

  • Proactively seek out and drive improvements to the platform and CRM experiences.

  • Work with your colleagues to improve core engineering best practices and principles

Skills and Qualifications we look for

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Software Engineering

  • University degree or higher (or equivalent) in a relevant subject

  • Developing Apex, Lightning Web Components and understanding the language, VisualForce, Flows etc.

  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript/ Java language

  • Core Engineering principles and best practices

  • Continuous delivery and associated tooling

  • High performance and scalable applications

  • Web Services - REST, SOAP, etc

  • A proven track record in delivering products and solutions

  • Demonstrate a high commitment to quality

  • Understanding & experience of Agile ways of working

Good to have skills

  • Otherprogramminglanguagesandparadigms

  • AWSandInformaticaCloud

  • Salesforce certifications

Location : Bangalore,Karnataka, India

Working Arrangement : Hybrid - a minimum of three days in office per week
