Role Summary :

The Data Architecture & Data Governance Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions and ensuring robust data governance practices. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define data standards, policies, and procedures, and ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across the organization.

Based at our Based in Bengaluru India corporate office, you will report directly to the Data & Insights Lead for ISC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data architecture solutions.

  • Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Ensure data architecture aligns with industry best practices and organizational goals.

  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities.

  • Monitor data quality and implement data quality improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.

  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, data visualization and business analysts to ensure data solutions meet business needs.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote data governance awareness and best practices.

  • Communicate data governance policies and procedures to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Oversee data lifecycle management, including data acquisition, storage, transformation, and disposal.

  • Implement and manage data cataloguing and metadata management tools.

  • Ensure data security and access controls are in place and regularly reviewed.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and data governance.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

  • Participate in data governance councils and committees.

Qualifications:

· Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

· Experience : 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data governance, or a related role.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data modelling, and database design.

  • Experience with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alteryx).

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Oracle OBI, Google Big Query).

  • Understanding of Enterprise business systems as data sources (e.g., ERPs, CRMs)

  • Understanding of Cloud data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS)

· Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and ethical considerations in AI and automation.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
