Overview
The Front-End Developer will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application, primarily using React.js. This role involves working closely with designers, back-end developers, and other team members to create responsive, performant, and user-friendly web interfaces.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Create interactive and responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
Collaborate with Design Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web pages.
Optimize for Performance: Ensure high performance and compatibility across various browsers and devices.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve issues and bugs.
Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in React.js and related technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
User Feedback: Implement and improve features based on user feedback and usability testing.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and any changes.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with React.js.
Preferred qualification
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong expertise in React.js and its core principles.
Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of design aesthetics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS).
Knowledge of build tools and task runners (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
