Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design electrical system/subsystem according to the system specification.Define motion profile and control architecture for precision optical motion stages.Design electrical interlock and safety protection systems within Control Architecture.Select Motor Driver, Controller and Motors & Perform Motor Sizing to meet System Requirements.Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.Perform Vibration Analysis of Electromechanical Systems.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• PhD or Master Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Robotics Engineering with Focus on Control System Design.Expertise with Control SynthesisEmbedded Software (C/C++) design & Knowledge of DSP & FPGA ProgramingExpertise in Schematic Design Hands on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope & usage of Accelerometers Knowledge of Systems Identification and Mathematical Modeling of complex Electro-mechanical systemsKnowledge of Frequency Domain Analysis and Control Loop Shaping.Experience with PLC programming (Ladder code), Siemens preferred.

• Strong communication skills and cross functional team coordination. Excellent aptitude for multi-tasking and willing to learn

• Experience in Semiconductor domain is mandatory

Desired Skills:

• Thorough technical knowledge of electrical engineering design concepts and applications components, Schematics, electrical system, OEM selection. Knowledge on electrical systems and components, control system, relays, power supplies, cable harness. Knowledge on BOM management, Documentation, release process, Reliability testing. Electrical CAD tools: Siemens S7 1200 PLC, AutoCAD, OrCAD, Microsoft Visio, Creo. Working Knowledge on any Engineering change management software packages like SAP, Knowledge on PLM software. Experience in PLC programming, PLC program validation, download/upload process & real-time ladder logic monitoring. Familiarization of different User Interfaces. Experience in fellow standards as CE, SEMI S2, S8, S22 / NFPA 79, UL508A.
