Roles & Responsibilities:
To assess the non-conformities encountered during Fuselage production from Design perspective and provide solutions while ensuring constraints w.r.t manufacturability, assembly, and reparability.
Assess the deviations within the concessions from design point of view and providing the resolution.
To prepare the design solution report to remove the non-conformance which includes necessary drawing pack & DPDS checks.
Study previous solutions for clearing the non-conformance with appropriate solution and with good quality.
Coordinate with stress assessment team for design solution verifications.
Reporting critical technical issues up through functional management.
Analysis of production/ in-service non conformities (concession/repairs)
Understand the design solution and provide resolution to the identified non-conformances duly following customer methods and processes
Approved Design Signatory (T200) for Aero concessions will be an added advantage
Supporting ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to increase teamEfficiency through methods, process and other capability improvements
Designing special parts 3d model for the required non-conformities using CATIA V5 and creating 2d detail drawings with representation of nominal profile and new profile, along with selections of materials/fastener/protection and inspections (NDT).
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Working experience of concessions design assessment for Single Aisle aircrafts
Hands-on execution of Aerostructure composite/Metallic concessions
Have a good understanding or knowledge of customer methods, processes and standards
In depth Knowledge/work experience on Customer concession Methods & Process
Working experience in working with Fuselage structure for concessions
In depth Knowledge/work experience on drawing reading
Good understanding of Aero standards (SRM/ASR) of working procedures applicable in fuselage concessions
Ability and working experience with Non-conformities like Misalignment between stringers/frames, shifted parts/ holes, unwanted holes, dimension out of tolerance, deep flushness, stringer deformation, impact marks/dents/drill starts, and elongated holes etc
Good understanding of Stress requirements.
Good understanding of strength of materials.
In depth knowledge of Design solution to clear the non-conformance in the Customer methods & program
In depth tool Knowledge/Hands-on execution on Autocad, Catia, SAP, DPDS, Zamiz /AIRINA, VPM/PDM .
Hands-on experience of working on the Design Assessment of concessions for Aircraft fuselage, wing components viz. fuselage components include skin, stringers, frames, center wing box, central/nose fuselage, air inlet, keel beam and assembly
Ability to understand Load path on Wing/fuselage structure
Having knowledge on Primary and Secondary Structures of Aircraft
Understand the standards and working procedures applicable in concessions.
Desirable to have knowledge of ATA chapter
Desirable to have knowledge of GD&T
Ability to work to stringent delivery schedules and quality requirements
